Thank You for this: You love me.

Thank You for being a God who doesn’t change: yesterday, today, or tomorrow.
Thank You for giving me a plan and a purpose.
Thank You for showing me Your glory!

Thank You for showing up in ways we could have never imagined.

You are always with me and will never leave me- thank you!

Thank You for the lives that are being changed, eyes that are being opened, hearts that are being mended, and relationships that are being restored.

Thank You for answered prayer in Your perfect timing.

Thank You for tearing down my walls, for making me raw and vulnerable once again.

Thank You for being a God who is loving, merciful and forgiving.
Thank You for laying Your hands on us as we live our lives.
Thank You for being in control of my life.

Thank You for being patient with me.
Thank You for waiting and loving me always.

I thank You for the love that You poured out for us.

Thank You for opportunities: the opportunity to hear Your word, the opportunity to pray to You, the opportunity to serve, the opportunity to be broken, the opportunity to come back to You, the opportunity to help, the opportunity to give…

We love you, Lord!

My prayer to You as I start again-
Revive me and renew me
Wash me white as snow
I come to Your throne sweet Jesus
I lay me at Your feet. I love You.

“And even the very hairs on Your head are numbered. So don’t be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows.”
Matthew 10:30-31

Jesus- I trust You. I lay all my anxieties down at your feet. Not my will, but Yours. I pray that we be so intertwined that I won’t be able to distinguish my will from Your will. All I have is Yours. My hands are open to You. Keep giving me patience. Help me to keep walking by faith. To keep focused on You.

You are my everything. Thank You for Your sweet peace. I trust You.

Paint me with Your purity,
That I’d attract Your majesty.
When others boast in fame and old,
The purest place is where I’ll go,
The purest place, I will draw near.
Do what it takes to keep me here
In the center of Your heart.
The purest place is where You are.

Beloved Jesus,
I think I’m just starting to realize what it means to be loved as Your bride. I know this is irrational, but I’m so scared to lose you. To not hear your voice anymore or to feel the absence of Your nearness. But You never let go. You never walk away. You never stop loving me.
But what do I do? I feel Your intimacy and I run away. Cradle me in Your arms. Keep me warm. I pray that I never lose hope in You and Your promises for me. May I never let go or walk away from you.
My hands are open to You. Help me to keep walking by faith. To keep focused on You- my everything.
It’s You and I forever. I never want to forget that.

Make me… Take me… Break me, Lord Jesus!

Psalm 139 has always been one of my most favorite passages. Everything David wrote could not be more descriptive of how our Lord is. Verse five: “You hem me in- behind and before; You have laid Your hand upon me.” Verses 23-24: “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

So often people get caught up in themselves. I am guilty of this myself. I know God made me. He’s taken my heart; He’s broken me. Has He done this to you?

Father, take my life and make my heart how it should be. Lord God, BREAK ME! God, break me for You. Set me straight, Lord. Hold me in Your arms and lead me in Your way everlasting! Amen!

My eyes are tainted
I see through filthy lenses dirtied by life experiences
What I see, I comprehend
And my comprehension fails me
For I am a product of fallen man- brokenness
But, You speak truth to my deepest parts
You clean what was once filthy
You take the past, forgive it, and redeem it
You are my clarity
You are my point of view.

Father, how can this be?
All this confusion that resides in me
How do I not understand my very own heart?
From my mind it’s worlds apart.
But deceitful above all else is this heart of mine
So I search for truth that is Thine.
Father, let Your word wash over me
And in Your time, from this confusion, I’ll be set free.

Life’s experience has left me stained
But You always have purpose, nothing is in vain.
All I ask is to be one with You
This way I may know what is true.
Your truth will mend my brokenness
It will keep me straight in this world’s wideness.
So I delight in You alone
And lay my desires at Your throne.
Father, let Your word wash over me
And in Your time, I know, I’ll be set free!

Broken I feel,
confused and alone,
searching, seeking… lost

Spinning slowly,
grasping and grabbing,
trying to take hold.

So tired and worn
pleasing and giving,
yet losing who I am.

Take my hand,
God and King,
have mercy on my soul.

Give me life,
now and always,
fill me with Your joy.

Now reaching out,
wholly and true,
embracing those around.

May my worship be pure,
Father and Savior,
living only for You.

Filled I am,
content and guided,
searching, seeking… found.

Beautiful Savior,

May our hearts be fertile ground for You to plant seeds of wisdom, genuine compassion, faith, discernment, love, humility, trust, patience, peace and understanding.

May our hearts be overgrown with the fruit of Your Spirit.

Bring revival in our hearts and over this parched land, a land where there is famine- “not famine of food or a thirst for water,
but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD.” (Amos 8:11b)

Come, Holy Spirit, Come. We need You.
