This is my prayer for the children of the world
A prayer to preserve the innocence of every boy & girl
Lord, may this prayer reach your power to prevent
I pray you will always know my heart & its intent
Let’s get the discussion under way; where to begin?
I pray that they fall only unto minimal sin
I pray their parents have good intentions & unconditional love
I hope that they are right with the man above
I pray they don’t do death defying things
Instead I hope they fly, soaring towards their dreams
I hope that everyone is in business for themselves
Obtaining goals in this marathon, generating wealth
Measured only to the happiness provided by God
I pray they know that truth removes lies & the façade
I pray that words become the puzzle pieces of their mind
A healthy environment to positively stimulate actions that are kind
Let their words speak the truth that carries those lives
Of the people around them in order to prevent cries
Both silenced and announced, which are pronounced in war
I pray they know the concepts of the accounts at the core
Of each problem he or she may face held in dissonance to their morals
May each person work to create peace within their quarrels
I pray you may find yourself free from any addiction
Remember there is moderation and balance in any confliction
Look for happiness in its most pure & rawest form
Remember life is a stage, but you don’t have to perform
Make decisions for yourself and own your actions
If you look towards the days ahead for satisfactions
The door of the past is given permission to close tight
But the future is unwritten so let your actions become right
