Stefanie Bohde is the administrative assistant for the Lighthouse Collective. She graduated in June 2007 from Oakland University with a BA in both English and Political Science. Currently, she is a staff writer for the Lighthouse Blog and the Woodside News, and also freelances for a local arts and culture website.

Stefanie is passionate about God and His people, trying to learn daily what it means to look at everyone through the lens of love. She is excited to see her generation and those to come take hold of Christ’s love in a tangible, yet practical manner in helping to heal this broken world. Her heart beats for God’s justice and she longs to serve those that are poor in the economy of the wallet and the heart. Someday, she hopes to teach overseas in China again and write lots of books.

Stefanie loves life and all that is associated with it. A few of her favorite things include drinking tea, crocheting, world literature, creating art of all mediums, Chinese culture, swing dancing, crime shows on USA network, cooking, big cities and public transportation, talking about politics, thunderstorms, piano rock music, airports, and the color purple.
